LISPAT is not just a ready-made product, but a set of tools that can be precisely adapted to the needs of any pathology laboratory. Regardless of scale, structure, or procedures – the system can work exactly the way you need it to.
Nearly 200 Configuration Parameters
The core of LISPAT includes nearly 200 parameters that influence system behavior. This enables customization of workflows, interface behavior, messages, and printouts – without touching the source code.
Integrations – Without Limits
The system allows for unlimited integrations with external systems (hospital, governmental, or local). Some integrations have dozens of parameters to control data mapping, timing of communication, or error-handling behavior.
Flexible Screen Layout – Layout Mechanism
Users can reorganize the editing window layout to their liking. Using the Layout mechanism, panels, subwindows, and fields can be freely rearranged – and the system remembers these preferences per workstation.
Custom Result Form Structure
Administrators can define the result form structure for each type of examination. For example, full support is available for gynecological cytology according to the Bethesda System. Forms can include sections, required fields, dynamic fields, and dependencies.
Translation and Terminology Customization
Every part of the user interface – both static and dynamic – can have its terminology redefined. LISPAT provides a translation mechanism to adapt wording to a lab’s internal terminology or change the working language.
Print Templates – Complete Freedom
All documents printed from the system can be fully customized using the built-in template engine. Layout, fonts, colors, and even graphical elements (like a Christmas tree!) can be changed to reflect your visual identity or client branding.
Fully Customizable Test Types
Unlike its predecessor (the Patomorfolog system), LISPAT allows full editing of test types and subtypes, stains, specialized tests, and their organization. Administrators define how these lists appear and how they are presented to users.
Histological Workflow – Custom and Expandable
LISPAT allows custom workflows for histopathological procedures. You can define your own steps, set dependencies, automate transitions, and trigger actions based on the outcome.
Individual Workstation Settings
Each user can adapt the system's look and behavior to their needs:
- define what gets printed and when,
- choose default printers,
- enable or disable the voice assistant,
- configure connected hardware devices.
Security – Fully Configurable Too
LISPAT offers advanced security configuration options:
- password complexity rules,
- automatic account and IP lockouts on brute-force attempts,
- geo-IP blocking,
- white and black IP address lists.
